Tarot Cards and personalities

The fact that I’ve finally come to the third draft of my novel, that I’ve just entered the first week of my exam session, and a poll on Instagram suggested me that I really wanted something fun to do for this week's post.

So, here you go! A personality test for those who like to dig a little bit inside themselves and find answers to questions they never thought of asking. (When you find the results, you'll also find a little fact about that particular card in my novel!)

Tarot cards are a central part in my novel, even though they are not means to predict the future or investigate about one’s energy or desires. They are artif – wait, I’m not supposed to tell you this just now! I think I’ll have to wait until my novel is actually out there for you to read.

Anyway, I love tarot cards and the energy they bring to my thoughts. When I shuffle the major arcana I believe they represent the features of any story and of the world itself.

Take a deck, or make one yourself, then extract three cards. Now, imagine a character with those characteristics. What about a young men with the personality of the Temperance but with the strength of the Empress, and the wisdom of the World? And what can you write about a girl who is a Hermit with the optimism of the Sun, and the intelligence of the Magician?

I hope you can get inspired by this little exercise!
