This is just a small list to give you inspiration! Some of these things might feel weird depending on who your ocs are and what you personally like.
small touches
subtle smiles
walk hand in hand
they look for each other if they get separated
hand on waist or intertwined in any way
small kisses
holding hands
full blown making out (WARNING: this makes a lot of people uncomfortable)
subtle flirting
laughing together
one of the two might want to buy something as a surprise for the other
whispering about someone next to them together
going to each other's performances (e.g.: if A is in a relationship with a musician/dancer/actor/comedian, they'll attend their show)
ordering pizza over the phone for their shy partner
one of the two takes ice-cream or other snacks for themself and their lover
hand in belt loop
making each other's clothes
going to the movies
being protective of each other
taking pictures of each other
doing each other's make up
baking together
hands in jacket pockets
giving each other rides
becoming friends with the other's friends/family
writing love letters
leaning on one another when sitting somewhere
bringing food/drinks at a party
stealing each other's clothes (bonus if they're gay, non-binary, trans, but works generally with lgbt ocs)
holding their partner when they're falling as the subway starts
one of the two carries bags for the other if they’re in pain or they’re busy
picking the other off their feet
drawing with their fingers on each other's back as they cuddle
drawing each other
looks exchanged a lot
taking the other's jacket
buying their sick partner meds
communication through small gestures, body language, smiles, looks, etc if non-verbal
being awkward around family
pushing each other on swings
pokemon hunting or playing other videogames together
jokes murmured in one of the character’s ear by their lover
or it might look nothing like this! it’s okay if your character doesn’t behave like this. Make sure you know what kind of person they are.
For example, my ocs Achea (they/them) and Jun (she/her) are in a relationship. Achea is ace and doesn’t like touch much, so their relationship in public is much more focused on being there for the other and exchanging looks rather than being physically close or touching.
